A foundational principle of the Architecture of Intent is that delegation never transfers responsibility. While day-to-day execution is fully delegated to an autonomous, persistent AI workforce, ultimate accountability always remains strictly human.

Business Leadership The strategic vision, commercial viability, and funding parameters of an initiative. Formulating high-level business goals, priorities, and commercial success criteria.
The Governor Systemic compliance, safety guardrails, operational risk, platform budgets, and licensing standards. Coordinating platform specialists, maintaining overall execution standards, and driving the long-term maturity of the organizational capability.
The Architect of Intent (AoI) The technical executability, semantic clarity, and completeness of execution boundaries. Translating Business Leadership's strategy into precise, machine-readable Execution Contracts and declaring success parameters.
The Domain Expert (SME) The correctness, domain accuracy, and regulatory validity of the rules provided to the platform. Converting implicit, undocumented company knowledge into structured data rules and auditing high-risk delta outputs.
Platform Specialists The integrity of underlying technical systems, automated verification gates, and continuous improvement loops. Designing secure sandboxes, optimizing agent behaviors, orchestrating multi-agent collaboration, and extracting successful pattern updates.
AI Workforce None. Under the AoI model, autonomous agents cannot hold accountability — human operators are always answerable for final outcomes. Planning, researching, writing, compiling, testing, and self-correcting assets in secure sandboxes to satisfy the Execution Contract.
